Timebanking is the process of exchanging time and skills with other people in your local community. You spend time sharing a skill or helping someone and in return you earn time credits. These time credits can be spent on receiving help or skills from someone else.
It is a two-way process of giving and receiving time, skills and knowledge. You can offer your time to suit you and then make requests for help or other people’s skills when you need them.
Time4Leicestershire co-ordinates the community timebanks across Leicestershire. Our vision is to have active, thriving timebanks in every District of the county. These timebanks will connect communities, develop relationships and empower individuals.
